Our Story

So. Long story short, God is good.

Though we officially started dating in April of 2021, we had known each other for much longer. With our overlapping lives of school and theater, we became friends and quickly bonded over our shared interests. Beyond simply sharing interests, talking to one another was easy, and these conversations that would stretch late into the night became the core of our friendship, and eventually our love.

After making it official, we have continued to enjoy learning about each other more and more, giving us both more reasons to love each other. We enjoy sharing quality time together, having sweet café dates, going to see concerts together, reading together, or simply savoring each other's presence while doing separate activities.

We always reflect on how thankful we are that the Lord has put each other in our lives as for each moment where we are in sync with one another, there are plenty of instances where our differences complement each other and allow us to support each other through our weaknesses. All of these elements combined mean there was no singular moment where we knew we would get married— it was more of a quiet, understood fact that we absolutely knew we wanted to share our lives together. We are thankful for the ways God has been the focus in bringing us together

We thank you for celebrating our union with us! We have long awaited this day, and it is a joy to be able to share it with those who have made our lives special. We hope to continue to represent Christ better together than we ever could apart.

Venue: Ashton Gardens

We look forward to seeing you at Ashton Gardens!

When we visited Ashton Gardens, we immediately fell in love with the venue. It has a beautiful chapel with lush open windows. The reception will take place next door, in Ashton’s open dining hall. We love Ashton’s incorporation and use of glass, bringing the outdoors in. God’s creativity is on display throughout all of nature. We want that to be a focus on our wedding day.
